I have been working full-time as a professional freelance photographer for the last 2 years, focused on events and property and architecture photography. With a wide range of experience in all kinds of events: from weddings to conferences, seminars, bar and bat mitzvahs, dinner parties, birthdays parties and concerts. I am also experienced in portraits, family photos, band photoshoots, head shots, product photography, food photography, commercial shoots, retail and marketing photography, and other fields. I have worked for national and international companies like JCDecaux, Clear Channel, Ocean Outdoor, Wildstone Capital, NCS, Gousto, Cazoo, The Kooples, Travelnest, Visum, Lettingaproperty, Air bnb and many more. With a creative outlook and a keen eye to bring the best out of each scenario, my clients get high-quality results and a wonderful customer service.
Part-time Freelance Graphic Designer and Photographer
Period: July 2009 - July 2018
Locations: Granada (Spain), Cork (Ireland), London (UK)
Throughout the years, since I finished my University career, I have always worked part-time as a freelance photographer and graphic designer, developing my skills. Portraits, urban photo sessions for magazines, photo editing, artwork design, graphics for websites, logos, brand identity, and many more. I set up a home photography studio where I did portrait photo sessions and product photography for jewellery designers and others. This allowed me to learn much about studio work: setting up lights, flash, wardrobe and background, to get perfectly sharp and appealing photos.
Lightbox Designs
Period: July 2009 - January 2012
Company: Lightbox Designs
Job Title: Web and Graphic Designer
Location: Granada (Spain), Cork (Ireland), London (UK)
My partner and I set up a web and graphic design company, creating websites, artwork and logos.
Work Experience
April 2014 - July 2018
Company: Soho Printstore
Job Title: Graphic Designer, Photographer and Digital Print Operator
Location: Soho, London
Duties: in-house graphic designer and photographer. My duties included designing anything the clients needed: from posters, to flyers, business cards, wedding invitations, booklets, T-shirts, wall and window vinyl, and to get the final artwork ready for high-quality printing. I dealt with clients first hand, with premium customer service, to achieve the best results. My other duties included the whole process of printing and finishing all products, and the use of the Photography studio in the shop to do headshots and product photography.
October 2013 - December 2013
Company: Snappy Snaps
Job Title: Graphic Designer and Photo Specialist
Location: South Kensington, London
Duties: direct customer service. In-house Graphic Designer, dealing with any request from clients. I learned about photograph printing from film and developed my studio photography skills. Unfortunately, as much as this position helped me to take off as a printer, I didn’t feel the quality and services offered at Snappy Snaps were at the level I wanted to achieve and decided to quit and aim for companies that offered more serious and better quality results.
August 2011 - July 2013
Company: Pret A Manger
Job Title: Team Member Star / Barista
Location: Soho, London
Duties: To get on my feet when I moved to London after a big recession, I got a job in Pret A Manger, where I learned about the importance of good customer service and being a good team player. I was awarded several times by the Mystery Shopper for my outstanding customer service.

Education
Masters in Architecture
Year: 2001-2009
Place: University of Granada, Spain
Location: Granada, Spain
I studied architecture when I finished high school. Back then in Spain, this kind of degree lasted for 6 years and included the design and creative part of the subject, as well as the engineering side of it. Unfortunately, the Great Recession that started at the end of 2007 made it extremely difficult for me to get a job as an architect, even when I had relatives in the business. So I decided to leave Spain and try my luck in the UK. In the end I fell in love with graphic design and photography and here I am!

Skills
Even though I have attended many courses that served me well for my career throughout the years, I’m a very curious person and an avid and fast learner. I’ve taught myself many skills by searching for online tutorials and manuals, and practicing until I master them.
